Sì, forse questa è la strada e dovrebbe esssere anche semplice da eseguire.

hqplayer.xml

che contiene tutta la configurazione di HQPe.

Mi pare di ricordare che se lo si cancella al riavvio HQPe lo ricrea con il contenuto di default … ma è da prendere con “le pinze”, non ci metto la mano sul fuoco

/etc/hqplayer/hqplayerd.xml

questo dovrebbe essere il nome corretto (in grassetto)

Questa è un'interessante spiegazione di Jussi, lo sviluppatore di HQPlayer, sulla differenza dei filtri a fase lineare o minima in relazione al tipo di registrazione/musica:
 

How I see it is that the linear phase vs minimum phase has biggest impact on things like instrument locations and overall the "3D space" behaviour. Linear phase gives you more accurate sense of space, while minimum phase gives you maybe more natural transients. Also shorter linear phase filter requires less pre-masking, due to shorter pre-ringing.

 

Then we have two main categories of recordings. First are the concert hall or chamber music type recordings where all instruments are played and recorded in single acoustic space at once with few microphones and very little post-editing. Second are multi-track recordings recorded in studio, many times different instruments at different takes and then edited and mixed together into one. Former case includes a lot of acoustic cues from the space, especially when recorded with a single stereo pair. While second case doesn't have any such information that would be relevant and "acoustic" is mostly just some artificial reverb or similar added in the editing or mastering phase.

 

Also types of instruments and sound they make differ. Classical music is not filled with high frequency sharp transients. While pop/rock has a lot of such with constant row of drums and percussions. However, both types can have very dense passages, symphony or heavy metal can have very dense passages with "a wall of sound".

 

Then Jazz and similar is also interesting in a way that it may be recorded with few microphones in a real acoustic space  - many know the legendary Jazz at the Pawnshop recording (I have DSD128 and DXD versions). It can be combination of acoustic spaces and snappy high frequency transients.

 

Thus the rough starting point recommendations go along the lines of:

- Long linear phase filters for classical in acoustic spaces

- Short minimum phase filters for multitracked studio rock

- Relatively short linear phase filters for jazz clubs

 

However, above is oversimplification, because it is not taking into account that each of us is particularly sensitive to different aspects in the sound. And systems are also different. Box speakers with multi-way cross-overs are different than electrostatic panels.

 

Main thing I personally conclude from above, is that there's no such thing as "one size fits all". That's why I think it is important to have options with different weights towards different properties.

Le vie sono due, almeno, sono due quelle che ho provato io:

 1 - carichi il filtro IR .wav nella finestra convolution setup

2 - carichi il filtro .txt nella finestra pipeline setup

Ma sopratutto HQ a differenza di Daphile, ma come Roon, fa DSP anche se a valle c'è un NAA, ovvero, ne deduco, che fa tutto a monte.. Con daphile bisogna avere due macchine daphile
