Forse suona in modo ripetitivo, quasi ossessionante, ma la sua viscerale spontaneità mi è sempre piaciuta. Poi in questo cd lo accompagna una voce più graffiante e trascinata del solito. Immenso Steve Ray

in ricordo di Greg Lake -- ho voluto acquistare  acchiiappato  , su amazzone questo cofanetto di 2 CD Deluxe con 62 pagine ben descritte + foto ...  mastered Andy Pearce !!

Di tutte le 33 canzoni del doppio CD (l'LP ne contiene solo 21), una traccia non è mai stata pubblicata, almeno non fino a questa versione: Closer to Believing risale al 2016 ed è la cosiddetta 'versione finale' di questo canzone, originariamente contenuta nel quinto album degli ELP, Works Vol. 1 del 1977. Ma ciò non toglie nulla al materiale offerto. The Anthology: A Musical Journey è un ottimo album che rende giustizia al talento di Greg Lake. Avrebbe guardato volentieri con approvazione da dietro la sua nuvola, con un sorriso affabile, strimpellando pensosamente una chitarra acustica.
