Lo streamer di LAiV

Per chi fosse interessato, avevo chiesto al patron di LAiV se avessero definitivamente abbandonato il progetto di realizzare un loro streamer (inizialmente lo chiamavano NET2), cosa comprensibile vista la la concorrenza e la difficoltà nel proporre qualcosa di realmente differenziante. Riporto testualmente la risposta:

”I am happy to share that we have not given up on the streamer. It remains in development, though I will be honest that it is taking longer than we expected. It is a project we care about getting right rather than rushing, so it is taking the time it needs.

I do not have a firm timeline to share just yet, so I would rather not set expectations on that. Please do stay tuned to our website at laiv.audio, and I will share more as things progress.”

A me ultimamente aveva detto che sarebbe stato pronto ad inizio 2027, ma che avrebbe fatto parte della serie Crescendo.

Great question! Yes, we are actively working on a streamer and it will be part of our Crescendo Series. We are targeting availability around end of this year or early next year, though we do not have a confirmed date just yet.

 

Pricing has not been finalised either, but we can assure you it will be positioned with strong price to value in mind, very much in line with how we approach all our products.

 

As for Roon compatibility, that is something we are still working through and we are not able to confirm that just yet.
