No. Hanno risposto che è native DSD … che è tutt’altra cosa

I’m interested in this dac (using HQPlayer) but I read somewhere that it doesn’t do Direct DSD but transcode DSD into PCM.
I’m wondering if this is true as if it was true it doesn’t make sense to upsample to DSD.

I believe there is some misunderstanding in this regard.

Denafrips DAC supported native DSD through USB/I2S connection. 

For SPDIF/AES connection, the DSD can be transmitted over the DoP mode (DSD over PCM).

DoP allows DSD audio to be transmitted over PCM interfaces (SPDIF/AES) without requiring any modifications to the interface itself, making it a convenient method for DSD playback on systems that do not natively support DSD.

It does not work in the way that you had mentioned :)
