Buonasera,

è un po’ di tempo che mi chiedevo quale fosse la capacità di ingresso dell’ear e, non trovando dati in rete ho misurato così. È una misura attendibile secondo le vs esperienze? Per curiosità, Come valore sarebbe giusto correggerlo? Potrebbe aver senso inserire un commutatore con condensatori che variassero tale valore come in alcuni pre phono in commercio?

Non si misura in quel modo.

A circuito spento misuri solo la capacità di ingresso degli elettrodi della valvola.

Quando lo accendi si aggiunge la capacità per effetto Miller che tiene conto della amplificazione della valvola e della capacità Anodo-griglia sopratutto.

Il sistema per la misura è un pò più complesso

Diciamo che ne caso dei riaa attivi la capacità di ingresso risulta minore per effetto proprio del feedback anche se esso è dipendente dalla frequenza,

Detto ciò devi avere un ottimo generatore ed un ottimo tester in ac

Prima devi capire quale è l'effettiva Rin; puoi farlo iniettando un segnale a 100 Hz per esempio e leggere in uscita dello stadio il valore che ottieni; poi devi inserire in serie al segnale di ingresso una resistenza di valore pari a 47k ( quello standard) e leggere all'uscita dello stadio una tensione esattamente la metà rispetto a quella letta in precedenza; nel caso fosse più alta aumenti la resistenza, se fosse più bassa la diminuisci.

La resistenza in serie che ti da l'esatta metà della tensione è il reale valore

Poi, togli il tutto dall'ingresso e ti porti a 20 kHz, leggi p.e. 500 mV-1 v in uscita; inserisci di nuovo in serie la resistenza che hai trovato come valore definitivo  e vedrai che in uscita la tensione non sarà il 50% ma inferiore proprio per l'effetto della capacità di ingresso che ha una sua reattanza capacitiva e a 20kHz comincia a farsi sentire

A questo punto metti in parallelo a quella resistenza un condensatore di piccolo valore, 100 pF come inizio e inserisci in parallelo altri piccoli valori fino a raggiungere la metà esatta della tensione iniziale ; a questo punto il valore totale del cap in parallelo è la capacità di ingresso effettiva

@walge ho capito la procedura e vedo che è complessa oltre a richiedere attrezzatura che non possiedo. Grazie per la tua disponibilità ma io sono solo un pasticcione che si è divertito a realizzare questo kit-clone che comunque suona bene nel mio sistema.

@damn2k se non ti vuoi cimentare, il pre è proposto anche montato da almeno due costruttori diversi. Chi compra il kit lo fa per apportare alcune migliorie/personalizzazioni alla componentistica e al progetto in generale. Ma ti garantisco, per averlo acquistato anni addietro incuriosito dalle recensioni, che  l'apparecchio già montato suona molto vivace e dinamico. Ho solo cambiato le valvole scrause di serie con delle vintage e me lo godo così com'è.

III.C. Tubes:
After rolling a whole ton of tubes personally through the 834, these would be my recommendation. I've used the best mix of NOS and New production tubes I'm aware of at this time selected for each location. As I said before I would not trust NOS tubes - they're expensive and the quality can be variable unless from a trusted source- in which case they're even more expensive. If you don't have your own equipment to test and verify, I would avoid anything not new production. They are just as good, if not better, in my experience.

Note: From any vendor I would specify to "select for low noise and microphonics" even if the tube is already stated as a low noise/mic. tube. This is how tubes are selected for the commercial 834p: V1 selected for low microphonics, V2 selected for low noise, V3 "non-critical"
